Is age just a number or it really matters to be an entrepreneur?

As per my point of view age is just a number who can't determine your expertise and knowledge. No one ever said that you can’t be a successful entrepreneur at age 22 or 62. There are many examples of entrepreneurs who had started their start-ups late at their age. We have heard about Nykaa founder Falguni Nayar who became an entrepreneur at the age of 49 and 79-year-old Ashok Soota is all set to launch his third company. On the other hand, India also has 18 under-30 founders who are soon-to-be unicorns.  The most essential things that matters are education, experience, opportunity, network, and funding which position a founder to have the best chance of success. Whatever your age, stage or goals, you can be a successful entrepreneur. Don’t stress about it. Just start and always be clear about your mission and vision, educate yourself each day, use your experience to upgrade your expertise, keep your all 5-senses open to opportunities, keep networking and try to connect with your ta...

Limit chatting….Start talking

It was a time long back when people didn’t have cell phones. The way of communicating was direct or face-to-face talk or using the land-line telephone with BSNL connection. Talking over the telephone was expensive and so the talktime was limited. If it was a distance call, then one had to go to the nearby PCO booth for a short chat. The most easy and cheap way of conversation in those days was the traditional group talk (‘adda’). Adda was very popular in those days and people would be seen making groups to discuss on various issues. In those days, group conversation or ‘adda’ had a different taste. There were discussions about studies, sports, films, politics etc. These discussions had many advantages like it enhances one’s knowledge regarding an issue and also improves their speaking ability and communication skills. Time changed fast when there was advent of mobile phone, which of course was more costly than land phones and was not owned by everyone. However, with the great t...
